    Note that Paul Markham does not qualify as a troll, since he does not post in every thread and some time he is positive or on topic.
    From Wikipedia: a troll is someone who posts (only and many) inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages.

    Should not feed the trolls, but I vote for Rothstein:

                                                                                                                                      Yes a winning troll must never post anything cool or entertaining, and it must look as a fake nick. Trolling only in some posts while being ok in others, or being a non-anonymous contributor of anything, make the guy a part time troll only, not a winner.
                                                                                                                                      For GFY also it should be excluded those who say go fuck yourself, as this is like a compliment here, so it is left only what is not even a cool offense, to say fuck off is easy.
                                                                                                                                      The 100% of posts must be harrassing disservices, always causing displeasure to everyone reading, no any cool laughs for anyone (to offense a guy in gfy is not trolling), or this is a positive contribution, and it is important that every post of everyone it is contaminated, a troll must be always there, both quantity and qualty it counts.
                                                                                                                                      I learned of Rothstein as he intruded every post I've read lately, I then searched for his posts and noticed he have hundreds, none of which useful or meaningful - he make no big dramas so keep low profile, but injects his small pieces everywhere, causing huge trolling results overall, like an acid rain.
                                                                                                                                      I know some other guys look like trolls but they are more conspirator theorists i.e. Manwin = Mafia, or they know it better how to do everything and will teach you, but they are not trolls really, as it may be fun or or on topic at times, see Paul Markham or others you said.
                                                                                                                                      I am still interested at Rothstein signature but he trolled the price, of course.
