Ok, well I appreciate the offer but its sorta a moot point now. I PayPal'ed the guy.

A moot point? only if you're an asshole.

Yes, of course I know after a couple declined cards it wasn't going to go through, but I was pissed off at the time and it was almost like a challenge.
Translation: I new I didn't have the right key but I tried 9 times anyway so I could say it didn't work nine times.

I know I didn't do anything wrong. Good cvns, addresses, etc. I've used two of those cards on the web this morning - one at TigerDirect.com and one with a test signup on my own (Globill) site.
I know CCbill didn't do anything wrong. The fact that one of you wants to get to the bottom of it and one of you doesn't, is very telling.

And you've heard similar comments from many on this board who can't signup at their own sites, so I would say it is a fair statement that the scrub logic could use a little work.
No, I think the odd post about not being able to sign up were from assclowns who think you can chargeback & request refunds without repercussions.

I appreciate the response and I will try to edit the name of the thread to something a little more pc (if possible, don't recall if I can)
how magnanamous of you asshole.

but people take a dump on Ibill all the time even though the great majority of their customers including some very large ones like you-know-who are very satisfied.
ah, so unfounded accusations are ok because others do it?

All I am saying is, if I can't get a good card through your signup screen, some surfer's can't too, and now that I have experienced that frustration firsthand I'll be less likely to dismiss it outright when I hear about it.
no one knows that your card is any good and now you don't want it looked into. riiiiiiiiiight.

Here is a question for everyone:

This guy is posting on GFY, and adult webmaster board. I would never pay for access to someone else's website. I would tell them who I am, and then ask for a password.

Why is he paying for access to an adult site?

CCbill may have some intermittant problems, but we have them in number 1 position because they do pay on time, every time.

and we've had them for about 5 years now---NEVER missed a payment, the most reliable vendor we've dealt with.

and i must say that their attention to trying to solve issues on this board does show some class.

Not true.
Carrying a balance affects your credit rating.
Having too much credit affects your credit rating.
Applying for too much credit affects your credit rating.
Using too much of your available credit affects your credit rating.

Lensman is 100% when he says his credit score is super high. The max is 850.

I completly agree that is complete bullshit. CCBill is the only processor I have had no payment problems with. You have no idea what your talking about. You probably did a chargeback with CCBill and that is why you can' join. When I test their system I can join with any of my cards no problem.

Why is he paying for access to an adult site?

First, he wasn't buying access to a paysite.

Second, not everyone will give out passwords to people sending them email saying "hey I'm an affiliate, can I get a free password?" In fact, a lot of people won't. I actually stopped actively promoting someone because they wouldn't set me up with even a temporary password, even though their affiliate site said they would.

yes, I agree. Fuck ccbill... They have fucked my site up so bad. On my paysite, when a members cancel service.. his username is still active, so he can still get in the members area... along with a few other problems, like when I have problems they never contact me when I complain. I am interested in Globill but I am sorta leary since I heard they were offshore...

sounds like your purge file was not CHMOD'd to 666... considering you registered just to post this msg, your probably either a troll or idiot... ccBill rocks, hater..!

If you really had good credit, you would only need one credit card because the credit limit would be really high.
Not at all true. To get the highest score, you should have 2-3 bank cards, plus some dept store / gas cards. Not maintaining a balance is a negative, but maintaining too much (generallly over 40%) is a negative. Using about 25% of your available credit and keeping about 75% free will, in most situations yield you the best credit score.

There is a lot more too it than that... but I ain't here to write a book. :)

I've never had anyone say no to giving me a password to a site I might be interested in promoting. They would be foolish not to. How can I promote a site without knowing what's inside the site.... I also want to know if the site is real or chargeback city....
