    I got an inquiry recently for Content. Here are the emails we exchanged.

                                                                                                          1) The models are now expecting much higher rates
                                                                                                          2) The adult talent agents condone these outrageous rates
                                                                                                          3) Too many programs pay the models way too much making it tougher for smaller and or up coming programs to hire and producer content.

                                                                                                          Locations, misc expenses come into play as well which ad up real fast. If we stop paying the models $2,000 per shoot then maybe it will not be so damn hard to be able to produce content at a reasonable price for smaller programs.

We could earn more on the store and never had a cash flow problem. We can wait a year for a return on a set and not worry about it.

                                                                                                                                                                                              It seems like it would be more effective to start threads where photographers say what they think would be a fair price. I know I started a thread asking some years back and got a lot of how-long-is-a-piece-of-string nonsense in reply: What are the current going rates for photo and video content?

                                                                                                                                                                                              As far as Met-Art style content goes, a lot of that is done with natural light and reflectors. The girl needs to be cute and fit and have a certain look, but I don't get what would be over-the-top crazy expensive about that.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  3) As a successful shooter, when I came to Czech there were Germans coming here and paying 1/3 to 1/2 what we paid. Complaining to me about our rates of pay. Not my job to lower my prices so they could compete.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  It's not my job to care about small people getting a foot onto the ladder. In fact keeping them off the ladder is the name of the game.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  Some big programs should of thought the same when buying content. Paying peanuts they allowed others who could also pay peanuts to open a site and compete with them.
