    Forensic audio expert: Zimmerman said 'punks'

    Not that the sheeps sinalot, brassmonkey and co will ever change their minds, but good to know.

    Though it was widely reported that George Zimmerman grumbled a racial slur before shooting 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, his lawyers have insisted their client instead said "F---ing punks".

    Now they seem to have science on their side. Renowned forensic audio expert Tom Owen analyzed the 911 recording?which was fraught with cell phone interference?and told CNN that Zimmerman indeed whispered "punks" and not the racial slur that has caused so much controversy.

                                                          It will be interesting to see the final truth in all of this.

                                                          Perhaps if both young men had been provided better supervision growing up there would never have been an issue because both would have acted more maturely and responsibly. However, it is Florida after all.

                                                          I am amazed at the disconnect with some posts in this thread as to the facts/evidence and what the poster thinks. It shows an utter lack or inability of critical thinking. Sad, really.

                                                          I am neither for nor against either of the participants in this tragedy. I was not there. I did not see the events unfold, I did not experience what both young men experienced.

                                                          Who are we to say what is the ultimate truth here. A morally corrupt and politicized judicial system aided and abetted by a jury of double digit IQ dimwits will have that task.

But technically, some renowned persons opinion is still not the legal opinion of the FBI who is actually tasked with analyzing it.

It included audio of Mr. Zimmerman saying, ?This guy looks like he?s up to no good. He looks black.?

                                                                                                                                                                                              But Mr. Zimmerman?s comments had been taken grossly out of context by NBC. On the phone with a 911 dispatcher, he actually said of Mr. Martin, ?This guy looks like he?s up to no good. Or he?s on drugs or something. It?s raining and he?s just walking around, looking about.? Then the dispatcher asked, ?O.K., and this guy ? is he white, black or Hispanic?? Only then did Mr. Zimmerman say, ?He looks black.?
