Looking for a Business Partner

Hi,

I?m looking for a business partner for my company 95comics. The company started life as Kirtu.com which is currently the premier adult graphic novel website in India. We basically created a niche market from scratch and plan to do exactly the same thing via our international expansion now. What I am looking for is a business partner to jump on board to help me with this growth.

To start off, I?d suggest you take a look at 95comics.com to get a feel for who we are and what we do.

Why am I looking for a partner?

I?ve realized that this undertaking is too big for one ?owner? to handle and there is only so far an employee can go. Hence I am looking for someone who will be as passionate about the idea as me and has complimentary skills to take this business forward.

Whom am I looking for?

A potential partner would have to fit in a business development role and be willing to have some skin in the game. I am looking for someone who has had experience in building and running a successful mid-sized company.

Who am I?

More about me: I?ve been in the adult business since 1998 and have built up a network of adult entertainment sites in the Indian niche with a little over 30 million monthly visitors. My strengths lie in strategy and human resources.

Looking over your websites it's very interesting stuff. Having an Indian wife and in-laws I can understand how well this type of content would convert. How are you looking to expand the business? Inside of India, or worldwide? Only internet, or also physical books?

Anna's the best designer male or female that I know of. I'm sure there are some talented in-house designers that I don't know.

still partial to my own work but i don't do much of it.

Markul, my ideal business partner would be able to ideate and execute growth of the company. This would be done via getting distributors, executing ideas for growth in our product line, and possibly setting up mutual beneficial partnerships with other companies.

He or she would have to be someone with contacts in the Adult industry and even more preferably in the Graphic Novels industry and have experience in growing a company.

Porn is illegal in India. However 95comics is both based outside India as a company, and its products are aimed at an international market. Basically expect for the fact that we started off as an 'Indian niche' toon company, there would be no relation to India.

Michael, we are looking to expand internationally, starting with North America. That's exactly why 95comics was setup. Currently all our content is distributed via the internet, but if physical books is a feasible possibility I have no issues entering that market.

We have built a retail platform on the lines of Grapic.ly and Comixology via which we plan to sell not only our comics, but comics from other publishers and artists too.
