I don't think it's bashing. It's more like some of us have been here for so many years, and seen so many threads about Webair fucking people's sites, that we simply go "I can't believe people are STILL this stupid."

EddyTheDog 04-07-2012 07:11 AM

I remember years back having a problem and the support was so bad I stopped paying them, I asked to cancel the account with no response.

6 months later they noticed and sent me a nasty email....

RandyD 04-07-2012 09:29 AM

There is no support with webair virtual - they take fucking days to read the ticket for fucks sake.

ENVK 04-07-2012 10:08 AM

LOL webair its a joke hahaha :1orglaugh

I've been hosting with them for years too but I've noticed that the support isn't as good as it used to be...

Rothstein 04-07-2012 11:55 AM

Tried webair a few times, every time was the worst hosting experience I've ever had.

Anderson yes i can highly recommend www.reflected.net .

Been with them for 5 years now and can truly say their service is awesome. As well as their servers ofcourse.

Thanks!!!

We have also had many issues with them for a long while. In the end we got a servermove from BSD to Linux and our issues disappeared mostly. Took a few years though;-)

We always stayed hoping it would get better. Lately i notice the more experienced guys on live chat seem to be replaced with 'other' techs. Probably good, but not good enough for my issues as i only contact them when its over my head, which unfortunately means mostly over their LP rep's head also.

We've had being down for hours, mysql issues, billing errors, email problems and whatnot. In the end it was always taken care of, but moving servers isn't everything either, which kept us there too.

Reading this isn't comfortable.

Hosting with Webair = asking for trouble.

what do YOU recommend?

Did you have a bad experience with webair in the past? or you just don't like them because other gfy members had issues in the past?

thanks for the input

I doubt any of the ones I listed above do. They do solid dedicated though.

Rothstein 04-10-2012 05:50 AM

m3server and Amerinoc both offer decent VPS's.

A year ago I thought I would test Webair out so I signed up for a virtual account. Took them almost a week to setup the account and when they did I was assigned IP's that were blacklisted. Their support totally sucks and I would avoid them like the plague.
