impossible to know if its a hate crime, since something could have easily happened sometime in the past. for all we know the kid walks through that neighborhood every day on the way home from school, and the day before he yelled racial slurs at the black kid.

would that justify the burning even if that is what happened??? of course not... but not everything is racially or "hate" motivated.... fucked up no matter the circumstances, but jumping to conclusions is never a good way to reach an opinion
