had about 30% females this weekend joning...seems really high..is it even possible that half of this number are not boyfriends/husbands joining with their wives/girlfriends cards?

I have noticed that a lot of the signups made with female names chargeback etc. I'm not sure its a majority, but its certainly more likely-- especially given how few chargebacks I get. It cure looks like many of the women signing up, aren't.

Then again, maybe you got soem good word of mouth, or a listing on a site with good female traffic. It does happen, and with the right site, conversions and retention will kick ass.

angelsofporn, be wary... there was a thread last month concerning this, many have noticed that a *very* high percentage of female signup's become chargebacks farther down the line... perhaps yong males w/ their mothers creditcards, or husbands/boyfriends denying they ever signed up when the bill comes..? not sure, but regardless, we've seen a high rate of loss on female signup's..
