althought they say "no advertising is bad advertising", too. not that i agree or disagree with your cs, i take no stance on it :)

however, if someone has a good experience with a company, they tell one of their friends. friend forgets company, never does business. but, person has bad experience, tells 50 people, 50 people forget why they knew the name, but they knew the name so they do business with the company.

They came with some of that CRUCIAL Cali Chronic shit that had me bent over coughing. I'm not used to smoking shit like that at all. Also a nigga named "toodamnfli" had brought up some killa shit himself. We smoked a blunt of it in the bathroom at the Rumpshaker party. I was embarrassed to have them smoking on the shit that I brought with me. It didn't even compare.

I agree. No matter how much of a jackass a customer is, you MUST ensure that 'the customer is always right'. Some people you can never win over but you can still make money from them.

As DH said, that surfer will probably never subscribe to another site. We all lose because of that. And as quiet stated, a kinder note will avoid a chargeback.

I think most people's concern here is with the newness of the internet, 1 unsatisfied adult customer is 1 customer who will never buy a adult membership again. If that is the logic, than how a site owner treats a customer will effect us all. Even though BVF has a valid point in stating that he treats most his customers well, it still goes back to the logic above.

Having said that, I personally encourage all site owners to treat their customers bad, so I can take them from you and show them what real customer service is about. :)

Quite a few years ago I used to get upset when some jackass hits me with an email talking about what they didnt like about one of my sites (free or pay), and I used to jump on them because of the fact that I knew my sites were far better than most bullshit out there. Those types of emails only come a few times a year anyways, so no need for me to sweat it.


Sometimes I hit them with: "No one knows the formula for guaranteed success, but I do know a true way to failure is trying to please everyone." Give 'em a smile and hit them with a thanks for visiting email...

"The customer is always right" has no place in this day and age. The world is filled with jack offs who deliberately charge back and send stupid ass emails like this simply because they have nothing better to do!

If we kiss their asses, then we encourage them to treat all business people like this...we teach them that they can get away with it. "Hey, maybe if I act like a complete ass and complain to this guy, I can get something for free."

Well, fuck that. If someone approaches me in a reasonable manner and has a valid complaint, I treat them with respect. If they come at me like a total retard, demanding something for nothing or threatening to sue cause they didn't like their call (I'm in the phone sex biz), then I have no respect for them and I don't waste my time trying to save the sale.

I don't work this hard every day to end up feeling beaten down by the masses, I'd rather lose a couple of sales (though once a customer behaves like that, I don't feel they'd ever be a safe customer) than spend each day kissing ASS.

Anyway, that's my take on it! :) At the end of the day, it's my sales and my own attitude that determine how successful I am...not a few disgruntled, wacko ex-customers.

That logic just doesn't seem to fly with me...if I buy something and I don't like it, I go somewhere else. I certainly don't say "Oh my God, this pizza SUCKS. I complain and they don't give me a free pizza? I'm never buying pizza again!"

What the fuck are you on about? The guy said he was going to cancel his membership. He wasn't charging back, and he wasn't trying to get anything for free. He was just giving the dude his opinion.

Stupid of him though. It's pretty obvious what's going to be inside just by taking a glance at the front page.

He didn't outright ask for anything free, but it's pretty obvious from the posts on this thread that most people would have tried to save the sale by offering something...and that's probably what he expected.

When I get a negative email, I really look at it and dont take it as a personal attack. Is there something that I could do better? The pornography is business is like any other business without customers we are nothing. On the net its worse the study is when a person is happy about a product or service they tell 10 people on avg , when they are unhappy they tell 200. Now I learned that when I worked for Mercedes Benz's who prided themselves as the kings of customer service. That was before the net took hold, one pissed off customer now can cause a huge shit storm, newsgroups ,forums, these guys talk to each other. I admit when you first work for yourself not having to eat shit is a thrill but in reality all customers should be treated with respect because without them folks you wouldnt be sitting talking on here you would be working some suckful job. Also I think talking on your site about going to Internext and smoking dope there is irresponsible to our industry, also you have a kid what are you doing smoking dope?
