Anyone else's ccbill sales drying up?

2 sales a month doesn't pay for hosting. 2 sales a month will not pay for the visa renewal fee.No one here knows the history of your sales, and no one knows what site(s) you run, so I'm not sure what you are after.
If you have a shitty site that used to do 2 sales a month, and now you're down to zero... oh well.
If you have (a) decent site (or sites), and you've dropped from 500 sales down to zero, then that's a problem, but as you won't even reveal what this site (or sites) are, I don't know how anyone can really help you.
CCBill sales are VERY consistent for me. That's all I can say. March is no exception.
I am not asking for your help in that manner. Refer to the title of this thread.
If sales are consistent for YOU, then that just tells me more that there is something fucked up going on.
By telling you what sites I run, will not help you figure out why my sales have tanked. In fact, it would probably confuse you even more, since they are well designed, well promoted, and have considerably more members area content then probably 95% of sites that are similar.
You would certainly not look at them and go.... "ah thats why... shitty content, shitty design, bla bla bla"
What I'm saying here, is my sales were also VERY consistent. All of the sudden dropping off to zero is highly unusual.
Which brings me full circle to the title of this thread. I mentioned wonderful things about CCBill so I am not here trolling, nor do I prefer to have my sites nitpicked for bullshit reasons, when there are other sites out there on CCbill making sales, with shitty content, shitty designs who never update etc etc. In fact right around the same time my sales went to zero I updated a couple members areas with over 10,000 exclusive pics.
Im not trying to be a dick to you, Im here to see if anyone else is having the same issue.HelloComment

The reason I said check htpasswd file is that I have had that file go to 644 for no explained reason. When that happened ccbill sales came to a hault. I've actually had a cron installed to check that file 1 time every minute to make sure it is set to 666.
I also asked if he tried to signup to his own site and no answer.
Either he has me on ignore for some reason or, imo, he has another agenda. Not posting the site(s) and claiming sales totally stopped is a red flag in my book.Comment

Sales are okay right now, I suppose they could be worse, or could be better for some, but like you mentioned if its 85 degrees outside and its practically still winter time it could cause some to experience what many have always referred to as the "summer slowdown" except the summer slow down does not normally hit until june
On the bright side if the temperature trend continues this way then you can be assured many will be staying indoors all summer and that could defeat the usual summer slowdown for some...hypothetically of courseComment

We recently changed our account at ccbill to activate account grouping. We added a new site 2 weeks ago and plan to add more. CCBill admin told us we would have to have affiliates sign up all over again. As you can imagine 150 affiliates were less than happy. However, we now see sales from old system and new system accounts. Meaning sales from affils who signed up all over again and from affils who did not. I guess its good...at least I hope it is.
Have had a ticket into ccbill through tier2 for two weeks now. I am told to expect an answer by end of this week, I presume tomorrow.
Something is up. Our sales were rocketing before but not in March...
Any detectives familiar with how to detect malware on servers?
Or is the Visa/MC lawsuit already affecting porn peeps?Comment

I pretty sure that there is also a problem with visa (that's probably why ccbill declines so much transactions)Last edited by pornmasta; 03-22-2012, 07:52 PM.Comment

?? You do not need another *account* to enable account grouping. That is an option to set on your account. Not sure what you were told. Maybe you have certain levels of *payout* percentages to affiliates and you do not want them to change? That is one problem with ccbill... if you enable account grouping you cannot change the affiliate payout per sub-account. That is an issue... rather large one.We recently changed our account at ccbill to activate account grouping. We added a new site 2 weeks ago and plan to add more. CCBill needs to lighten up on the scrub... for sure. All this fraud detection is interfering with legit sales...
back to OP though... I stick by my previous post. How about a reply?Comment

jesus fucking christ.... how dare I leave my fucking computer for a few hours.I'm starting to question the motives of the OP.
The reason I said check htpasswd file is that I have had that file go to 644 for no explained reason. When that happened ccbill sales came to a hault. I've actually had a cron installed to check that file 1 time every minute to make sure it is set to 666.

Not posting my sites and claiming no sales, is me not fucking telling you what my sites are and that I have had no sales.
You were wrong about me ignoring you, so maybe, just maybe, you are wrong about the red flag? Fuck.
Are you having problems with no sales using CCBill? If not, then this thread doesn't concern you. Get the fuck out of here and go be a dick in another thread.
Im so sick and fucking tired of fucking assholes who think everyone owes them something.
If you feel like your just trying to help, well I appreciate it, but stop being a fucking asshole and thinking there is more to the story. I actually fucking like a few people Ive met from CCBill, so Im not trying to fucking troll and hurt their business. If you read the fucking thread you would see that.
As far as my password file, it shows the mark of the beast.
And to answer your other question..... because Im not a fucking cunt... yes, I did sign up to one of my own sites and the transaction went through. So in your fucking book, that must mean my sites are shit. In your book, it must mean "problem solved"
You should really get another book.
Bottom line, Im frustrated like a motherfucker. Im pulling my fucking hair out. I pay money for hosting, I pay money for visa. I put a lot of hard work and effort into my sites and to see sales come to a sudden stop is not something you take lightly.
This is supposed to be a webmaster community. But is it really? Do you really have to second guess EVERY motherfucking post someone makes?
Maybe this thread is beneficial for someone else that is having the same problem? How in the fuck do you or I know unless someone makes a fucking thread like this?HelloComment

by the way, what are your sites? I notice you don't have them in your sig either.?? You do not need another *account* to enable account grouping. That is an option to set on your account.
