I sent you an email. Not really looking for photography work, however I shot you an email with my portfolio that was accepted by met-art. I will be shooting a ton for them over the next year.

http://natashabelle.com/promo/photos/t1/20_chair/ and thats the quality i shoot for solo, I shoot about 10-11 of those a day (125-140 better than usable in a set). So if the sets were for Met, most likely looking at a few less sets as you have want alot more poses and uniqueness as they are very picky.

I hope you know what met-art pays though. Or else you'll be wasting your time looking for met-art quality photographers, they pay very well.

I listen to all potential ideas though, never shut down an idea before i listen to what a person has to say, so feel free to hit me back

I believe you took my post wrong, I combined a post stating reasons why he might be interested in contacting me and then I started listing reasons why he will need to pay well to get the quality hes seeking, I wasn't at all bragging. First of all, the sample I showed was what I was shooting for a solo site. Photography doesn't mean anything when it comes to solo girl content. I shot 110 sets + 65 videos in 2 1/2 weeks (that set being one of them). Do you really think i was worried about the composition that much? Shooting for myself and shooting for high end clients is a huge difference, for myself, its just about quantity and profit, so you can over analyze my natasha content all you wish. That promo set wasn't apart of my portfolio I sent either. If you read the next line, I mentioned how thats the quality I shoot for a solo girl site which as i stated above, is a niche in no need of good photography

When selecting images for promotional purposes on a solo site, you select all that are even slightly usable, and for promo, you select the photos where she looks the best in. If I made that promotional set for met-art, it would NOT be the same images. And many of the images would not even have made the cut because of poor composition, etc

And as far as joining met and looking at their content, I have a members pass for promotion, I have been an affiliate of theirs for 10 years or so. I have alot of traffic in that niche.

Met has already confirmed my content looks like the content they are already working with. Or I wouldn't be claiming that I will be shooting for them this year.

And you say that set doesn't look like any of met-art's content? Thats because alot of their content is dry and without color and the same photographers who shoot with classic furniture, doesn't mean they aren't looking for the same quality with a more modern look. John Emslie's content looks very similar IMO

And about having an eye opening experience after I start interacting with the members, I welcome it. Theres always room for improvement and considering I have been a photographer since October, I hardly think where I am at now is my limit. So if they think my content is the same quality they are currently working with, I believe I should surpass that as I gain more experience. I will be shooting for a met-art photog while down in phoenix for the phoenix forum also

Ryan, first of all....I think it's tacky for any producer to jump in this thread and talk trash about your work and offer advice when you never asked for any, especially when you are pitching yourself for consideration for work. It's unprofessional and completely inappropriate. But hey, this is GFY and well, anything goes here.

As you learn more about photography and content production, you'll encounter many photographers along the way who will do their best to trash you, your reputation, your work and your ego. Don't let it bother you too much. Most of them are trolls, drama queens and haters and their opinions should mean nothing to you. Once in a great while you'll get a meaningful critique and of course, those are always welcomed. But mostly you'll get attacked by idiots so just ignore them. Just let your work speak for itself and ignore the haters.

If you need any advice, I'm happy to help if I can. You can reach me via the email in my sig. I love chatting it up about photography and helping others. I find this much more rewarding than being a hater & drama queen and trashing other producers work unnecessarily

When people talk about taking hundreds of pictures a day it is know that they will be routine formulaic and photography will be the loser.

This is not a personal attack but to point out that good photography takes time and effort. Met Art is disappointing as it has a lot of wealth but has done nothing to push the borders of erotic photography

the pics aren't fine. certainly not up to metart standards... but hey if a guy that has been shooting for 6 months is going to revolutionize metart with amazing photography, with dean captures help or course, and get rid of all those inadequate has been shooters that are fucking metart up right now ... who am I to say different?

And BTW, its more important to companies to get attractive new models than technically perfect pictures of unattractive models who have been shot by everybody. As long as the quality is within their standards (obviously)

why did you crop the watermark off? I don't shoot for you OR GFY, I shoot for a membership base. I read comments and emails all day long and gear my shoots towards that input... not some guy living in his mom's basement

basically you're a dump ass. trying to put down a guy that makes money consistently and has for 11 years ON A DAILY BASIS shooting content that converts and retains... instead of trying to learn...

I've seen 100 guys like you come and go, no shit... and I'll also say this... even though I haven't been shooting since oct 2010 and I'm not sucking up to a guy that works 3-4 times month because he's argued with all his client until the fire him.... I know what side of the bread the butter is on... maybe you should figure that out as well??? just a random thought... you know???

And I posted those to get the reaction I wanted (and got) to prove a point, honestly I have nothing against your work. I think you have a great work ethic unlike most in this industry. I posted those because I knew your response would be "i shot those specifically for somebody who wanted that" or something along those lines.

So now you've pretty much judged my photography that I shot for myself, who didn't mind the composition, etc because its a niche where technical things do not matter (i was the client and i didn't want to waste time being patient with gettign the perfect composition, etc) and then turn around and get offended when I judged your content that was shot for companies where they were happy with the content. Interesting eh Brian.

As far as the comments about seeing 100 guys like me come and go? Im not a photographer. Im a program owner and was a very large affiliate. I shoot for myself. Thats number 1. If I were to never shoot again, I wouldn't be the slightest disappointed.

And ive actually been in the online adult industry as long as you so I hardly think you can sit there and tell me, you've seen 100 guys like me come and go.

Ive gone through working with blogs, tgps, mgps, paysites and now im doing photography. I topped out affiliate networks at 1 million visitors day, now ive launched 2 of the larger paysites in the solo niche within the past 12 months and now im working with photography. I hardly think I have a resume where you can assume I will be leaving anytime soon

Is this directed at me? Im very confused by this?

Are you suggesting I haven't shot since oct 2010 or have been fired from clients? I don't even shoot for clients lol. Or are you claiming that you haven't worked since then and been fired? and who are you saying works 3-4 times a month?

I know you asked Dean but allow me if you will. first off theres nothing wrong with what you are doing now but the difference I see most is in exposure/color saturation. The big thing to remember on that front is dont over expose the shot if anything underexpose it a tad, add some depth to the lighting. Theres a lot that can be done in post production but you cant dial back the exposure but you can dial it up . An overexposed shot will not allow you near as much flexibility in adjusting the color saturation.

Im with Dean here, don't let the ducks peck ya to death. do your own thing and constantly strive to improve it a bit at a time. And remember if you are making money doing what you are doing now it may not need fixing at all.
