And now they're probably doing their best to convince the kid he was "abused" and "taken advantage of" etc. He's probably heartbroken, and feels incredibly guilty his girlfriend is going to sit in jail until he's at least 34 years old..

I bet the kid hates his mom now, which is likely why she's being a "woman scorned" and sought this kind of ridiculous jail term.
