I have over a dozen backup drives from computer backups, design backups, content etc. and no clue where to start looking. The pics were easier because I had them on a drive with travel pics and knew where they were.

Around the same time - he launches tgps and other sites - thinking he's such a genius, he'll "get it" right away"
When we were there - he was trying to finish his studio to lease out for absurd hourly and day rates
When we were there - Eva was already shooting most of his content for him for quite a while
After we were there - he launches sites with $5 access and tells everyone how dumb they are (sites not defunct)
After we were there - he's broke and begging for money on GFY
After we were there - he admits Eva having to get a job to support them
After we were there - he admits to never making over 80,000.00 USD a year
After we were there - he retires trying to act as if that was the act of a successful person who did well.. the truth is that he was forced out of business as the dynamics changed

A time when a porn shop would turn over $2-$3 million a year. At a huge profit margin. Sounds small, multiply it by 100 for just one chain. A time when piracy was a prick in the profits, not a slash or chopping off of them.

Maybe it was a time when there were less people all earning more per person. Or maybe if you count all the shops, video sales, rental, mail order, magazines, cable TV, phone ads, hotel chains, etc. You realise it can never be replaced by porn online, not with the free sector or piracy.

Maybe it was a time people were paying big bucks for below average content. Pity Dean couldn't get to it. He worked for Steve Hicks, so he knew where the real money was.

when everyone think you are wrong, chances are, you are wrong.

Here are some random reasons why internet porn doesn't seem to be selling as much as it used to:
1) When internet porn started, that's when content creation for the internet started too, which meant porn was new to everyone that saw it at the start and took a while for things to get oversaturated and higher quality to make the older porn seem worthless to buy.
2) Much more webmasters are promoting the same thing since more people have computers and are in need of making a few extra bucks these days and hosting is super cheap compared to the 90s (Affiliate marketing got me out of poverty)
3) Blackhat and cookie stuffing cheaters
4) Some 'webmasters' just suck and like to complain about it even if they've never made money in the past either..
5) Internet connection speed is much better than before so promoting only image FHGs doesn't quite cut it anymore by itself..
6) There's a lot more to do on the internet nowaday than just research and jerk off like it used to be...

The point is if you have good content and promote it well with good selling text, minimal leaks on the page, frequent members area updates, great landing page with clear info of what the surfer is getting, and know how to promote your niche, then you can make good money. The amount of money that people spend on porn is determined by how good you are at selling.. ;)

Not true. When the Internet started was in the 50s. The history of the Internet began with the development of computers in the 1950s. Until the introduction of Digital Cameras it was mostly scans off pages from magazines or slides. Which were mostly produced by professionals like me. The first affordable ones were around 1998 if my memory serves me right. There were ones before, but very expensive. Olympus and Nikon were early in this race.
