                  I hope no dragons are killed on the Game of Thrones set, resulting in its cancellation. That will really mess up my Sunday nights now.

                                      It's sad that they couldn't protect the horses better. Today we can achieve this. Also shame to lose a great show, I think it has more to do with ratings than other things. Too hard to follow for some I suspect.

                                          When a horse races, it's a big deal. There's lots of preparation, physical testing etc (as shown on Luck). Now imagine doing that with multiple takes. Some bad shit was bound to happen. There were a lot of horses running hard, multiple times -- casualties were an probably an inevitability.

                                          But I'm not saying they did a great job watching after the horses.

                                                                                                  The wife and I just had a pet euthanized the night before the pilot originally aired. When they put down the horse with the broken leg, we both freaked out. Even if I didn't have my pet put 'to sleep', i still don't like seeing that kind of thing on tv.

                                                                                                                          The plot/story was slow like in all HBO shows worth watching.

                                                                                                                          I didn't see a lot of losers. You must be referring the gamblers, who were only a small part of the actual story.
