Old bands can definitely be good, but aren't they a one-hit wonder? I can only think of maybe two songs of theirs.

I think there's arguably two. Lump and Peaches.

I saw them in Vancouver ages and ages ago when they were still pretty popular. They did a cover of "Ricky's Girl" and I think that was the best song they did all night.

They are playing on one of the best (small) stages in Amsterdam for 20 euro's and it wasn't even sold out.

I have seen then a bunch of times. They are a hell of a lot of fun live. You gotta love a band with a two string bass that sings about kittens and peaches.

They played the first album...all the songs and then another 10 songs or so!

Great success!

I used to write for a magazine called The Rocket. It was a pretty big Northwest music magazine. They put them on the cover right when their big record first came out. The guys were so cool they actually came down to the office to thank everyone and told us how when they first started the band their primary goal was to get on the cover of The Rocket. It was pretty cool to see just how appreciative they were. . . of course it didn't hurt that our cover story on them was a glowing piece about how great they were.
