The sheep get sheared. It doesn't make sense to use hosted tube on any domain with serious traffic.

1. Isn't the content all available for free on porn.com?
2. You can mainly only push Pimproll. You're locked in.
3. You could make more selling traffic to real brokers. Your mobile alone is probably more than they pay you!
4. You're pissing away all your SEO and giving it to them for pennies.
5. PR hasn't converted up to my standards since 2006. It seems I'm not alone. I hope I'm wrong.
6. You're just saturating the search engines with these fake tubes which make you pennies.

It may be fine for things you'll never develop but otherwise make your own damn tube and keep more of the money.

I don't know what it is but I used to love them and they used to convert great five or six years ago. I had them in use heavily on a blog network and for some reason my conversions tripled within a year. I stopped promoting them because of that and have hardly ever made a sale since. 1:6,000 or more has been the norm. I even have other sponsors with links right next to theirs and they will make sales but for some reason nothing ever comes with them. I only say that which is true. I'd rather convert a sponsor. If they converted for me I would be far richer.

Not very good money ie over $10k per month just low level thousands per month for a few galleries we had. They werent a big source of income for us so I never checked it. It was pretty good money over the period that we pushed them but not one of our main income sources.

I don't get it. How many of these threads do you idiots need before you understand that hosting a tube there is a total waste of time. No wonder none of you make money. You're all dumb as fuck.

I love how people think they should buy a $7 domain, add it into hosted tube, do ZERO other work and then just sit there and wait for the checks to start rolling in..... Hosted Tube does have some very good uses (I have 20+ of them live and for my purposes they are doing quite well). It doesn't turn blahblahpornblah.info into a million dollar per day revenue generating domain name all by itself, and nobody ever said it did... :2 cents:

No, but they're great for what they are. I use mine for SEO purposes and maybe about 15 minutes of real work on it and is a PR2 with 2000+ SE uniques daily and growing on a 2 month old domain with almost all duplicate content and has made me $16 so far.. :smokin

Btw just wondering. I don't know how their system works but those se hits are you getting them because of the tube your hosting there or did you do se work on the site and the tube has nothing to do with it?

It's to bad you can't redirect that traffic towards a $35trial sponsor...even if it converted at 1:2,000 you possible could have made around $735 instead of $16. I'm only using hosted tubes until I can get around to throwing up some quick blogs on the domains.

I'm not exactly sure, but I think I can do the same in terms of SEO even with a WP tube blog.. I did the usual SEO with it that I do with any other site and got it to a PR2 too.

He more than likely would have made around the same with a wp tube blog etc have you seen what some ad brokers are paying right now? 2k hits a day is nothing for a tube site. The one advantage to having your own script is you could possibly retain more bookmarkers as you would get people who register for free, and over time may eventually buy something.

but there is a reason why most of us dont have mechbunny or stp, so you cant knock them for making a system that anyone can see positive return on unused domains.

I'm not going to get in a pissing match over this but if I thought I'd make more money getting rid of my hosting and going with hosted tubes I would have done it immediately. Maybe this makes sense for people who aren't making enough to cover a $60 dedicated server each month or aren't going to be able to get around to developing their domains any time soon but I would think most of us aren't in that category. And many more of us just know better than to bite on this one.

It's not for people who already have a site and hosting. On the other hand, before the hosted tube my domain didn't exist and I had $1 more in my pp account.. :upsidedow

I'm glad it's making a few dollars for you but If you want to go further in this business then you will need your own hosting sooner or later. Simply put there's no such thing as a free ride. At least one leading to where you want to go.

lol my domains were parked, they made more with hostedtube than they did when parked. One day when I need them I'll pull them from hostedtube.
