better question, how much do you think the industry has shrunken since it's peak in early 2000's, in terms how many people were involved then comparing to now?
50%? 70%? more or less? few years ago once i sow tubes rise and mansef/manwin taking over i speculated industry would shrink by 60-80% withing few years time frame. not surprised at all

Selling signatures used to generate a lot of the activity on this board.
Then more and more surfers started to join and there was a decline in posts by the people that matters which reduced the value of signatures and eventually a lot of the sig whores stopped posting. I heard some people generate good sales from posting content on here with their new models which is probably why there is more picture threads than affiliate news thread. That probably killed the porncity bbs for those who remember those days. It would be good to introduce a "verified to be in the industry" tag here. Trolls would be less annoying then
