    My mom asked me to teach her MS Word tonight...

    ...so I told her how to install chrome, made her a gmail account, and explained about Google Docs.

    Fuck that.

    Last time she was having trouble with Excel...

    Turns out she was trying to use it like a word processor, and writing in paragraphs into cells and whatnot.. le sigh.

      does ms office still exist? i thought the last update was like 2007 or something.

              Latest is 2010 and a new 2012 version is coming out. Huge money maker for Microsoft since just about every business uses it.
