Do any of you guys own this type of LTD? Does google give it more love when searching from mobile device? Do you think these are worth a damn?

I'm curious about the value of them too. Why is there a need for a separate TLD specifically for mobile sites (aside from speculation and greed, of course) when it's fairly easy to detect a mobile by the user-agent, or just set up m.alreadyexistingdomain.com
My pet hate is sites that redirect to a basic "minimal formatting" mobile version when my phone has an 800px wide screen, with javascript, flash, CSS etc. It can display most sites just fine.Comment

I think they did give it weight at one point, but people quickly abused it so that weight was lifted..Comment

not worth anything.
the idea was mobile phones would use them.
i think the idea was in the days when mobile were wop.
bt now with 3g and 4g and most phones being smart phones thats changed.
in fact even cheap phones have web conection these days.
on top of that if your non porn you should realy offer phone aps rather than realy on websites.
in truth .mobi died before it came out.Comment
