Disappointed with Netflix lately. It's kind of like going to the video store's oldies section where you've seen everything thats interesting to you. I found myself switching between several movies at the same time last week.

I heard their content used to be alot better but they lost the license for a few studios or something. I hope they get it back otherwise I'll probably close my account soon.

I feel the exact same way. there were some good series. Kyle xy, Borgia, Merlin, Roswell, etc. to bad Starz is no longer with them. Seems that Hulu + also is sucking pretty bad...

I'd recommend something, but every time I go to Netflix they don't have what I want available on Instant watch.

I did watch "Elite Squad 2" recently. Kick ass Brazilian cop movie.

Depends if you have netflix . CA --- or --- netflix . COM

Remember, Netflix will never ever replace your video club with recent releases. If you like good TV series though, then yes it's the way to go with the . COM

Get a ROKU, signup up to NetFlix, Hulu, and Amazon prime and you have no need to pay for cable.

Roku will be released in Canada soon.

I don't think it matters. The good thing is you don't have to pay full movie price to see a movie that turns out to be garbage. Real Steal and Hugo probably a good place to start.

I'm assuming you've seen all the classics like Heat and Donnie Brasco...

Outrage is pretty good. Shame they got a retard to voice the trailer. Apparently, in the yaKOOOOza, there is a chain of command. Only bad things about this movie, too much rice dick Napoleon complex and too many fucking sentences ending in "bakayarou" or "konoyarou".

Rampart is also a OK flick. See Microcosmos or Night on Earth if you haven't seen them.

My kids have Roku boxes on the TVs in their bedrooms. I get an extra 30 minutes sleep each morning thanks to those little black boxes.

Netflix has TONS for the kids. I like watching Documentaries, and they've got a ton of them.

I always use rottentomatoes.com to look at the new releases and then you get a pool of both reviews and regular people's score. Probably more of a gauge for a good film rather than asking here.

If you like foreign films at all might check out the 2 "Mesrine" movies..

Part 1: Killer Instinct
Part 2: Public Enemy #1

Army of Crime was also pretty good. Was about some resistance fighters during WW2 that went around and killed Nazi's.

Passchendaele, a pretty decent WW1 film.

Blackthorn, a western film released in 2011 that carried on the story of Butch Cassidy.

All three of the "Red Riding Trilgy" were pretty good.

City of Life & Death.. was a WW2 film about the Japanese attack on China and the Rape of Nanking.

Winter's Bone, was about a teenage girl whom lived in very poor area of rural America whom had to try and save her home as her dad (drug dealer) had gone missing.

Man of the Year , was also ok.. was about a car sales man that turns into a contract killer.

Black Death & Ironclad were also ok and about medieval knights and shit.

All of these are on netflix instant que

Dead Man is a lesser known Johnny Depp film that is a Black & White Western movie that is a bit slow but still a good story.
