Linode Guru server HELP??!!!
I just hooked up with a Linode server to play around with and for some reason when I go to a couple of my sites I am getting a blank white page.
I can see phpinfo page when called, but that's it. Can't see anything in folders just blank white page. I know, it probably could be anything. but any ideas will maybe, get me in the right direction. ![]() ICQ: 645369008 |

Short tags where enabled. So far it seems to be a permission problem. I did a chmod 2775 to all files in public_html. Pages seem to be working but we will see. Now to screw around with database crap..to be continued
thanks cool! |

I'm just migrating away from Linode now, because you just don't get enough resources for the price as it scales up. I love their backup solution though. But for a $99/mo I got a dedicated Xeon 31230 with 8GB ram and 500gb of disk space, compared to $75/mo for a shared slower Xeon, 1.5gb ram and 60gb disk space.
Ran benchmarks and my dedicated scored 1,052 compared to Linode which scored 128... I think it's great to get started on though, especially if you can stay within the $20 a month plan. |
