it looked like no camera got a really good shot of the impact....it happened just below a trackside camera, and the only replay they had was from the next camera way across the track, where you can barely see the carsnothing to promoteComment

I remember when he was driving F1 cars, i'm a big F1 fan. He was driving for BMW Williams, race in Monaco. In the tunnel he crashed into the wall at about 260 km/hour and as he was spinning at high speed Schumacher passed him in his Ferrari. In a slow replay of the crash they lighted up Montoyas hand..... that crazy fuck gave Schumacher, who was passing him, the finger while spinning at 260km/hour..... can't deny he's got a set of steel balls.Last edited by WeirdHomer; 02-28-2012, 10:56 AM.Comment

I really thought the track was going to be ruined in that spot and they would not be able to continue the race. I am glad the safety truck driver was ok, no way that thing was built for that kind of an impact.Comment

Yeah that was pretty insane. Lots of Tide powder is the secret to cleaning up asphalt. Seemed the announcers were told at one point to not mention the brand name again. Anyone else notice how they first pointed it out and then just described it as a white powder later on?
Seriously a crazy scene though. And when they got the truck and trailer onto those lifts, the thing was sparking like mad. I thought it might set off again but luckily it didnt.43-922-863 Shut up and play your guitar.
