Did someone get attacked by kitties when they where young??? ;-)
No, actually we had one for a little while. My older sister brought it home unannounced and we cared for it for about 6 months. The thing smelled up the fucking house something god awful. People that have cats do not even realize how bad their houses smell... like ammonia and shit.

That being said my new kitty cant stop knocking any and everything off anywhere.
So far my best two coffee mugs, a valuable nice cut glass serving dish shattered, a nice lil glass pulled out of the cupboard and shattered, ripped sheets, and a few other things hehe
I sometimes wonder who is who's pet. BUT you get more than you give I guess
I don't get the fascination about Facebook either, yet there are millions of people with a need to write all kind of stuff about themselves daily, and another half that just can't live without reading about it.
I am with you.
How about people who post about their cats on FB all day everyday?
That's what I am saying. I mean, hey, if you like cats so be it. to each their own. People like dogs too. It's just that "cat people" as I like to call them are in a league of their own. Like obsessive compulsive cat love. It's kind of bizarre.
the internet if filled with weepy nerdy boy-men who tell their cat while playing skyrim that after they gave the cute girl at work a big bang theory dvd she said "thanks" then went off to fuck the pot dealer who verbally abuses her.
Those images I posted further up were only a handful of what was on the front page of imgur uploaded in the last couple of hours. There was literally hundreds more just from today. And the thing is, none of them are funny. All of that reddit/internet/meme humor, 95% of it isn't funny at all. Especially the shit that passes for humor on reddit. I don't really get it, either.
Very true. You never really "have" a cat or can mold a cat to yourself. My cat already just uses me and has his eye on the great outdoor world.
So much for getting one young Cats are cats.
We cat owners basicly admire them and get back only what we give. It is def a diff psychology than being a dog owner.
You're right about "having" a cat.
But actually when you have a cat who becomes "yours" you should be quite honored. Cats aren't adopted, they adopt. If a cat accepts you as his human, that is a very special thing. The mistake is thinking you can have or mold a cat.

Although cats are quite civilized and clean, they can't shovel out the litter or change it. That is one concession of being a cat's human.
