I had the same thing the other day. I had to do a graphic with the word "straight". And the more i looked.. the more i thought.. thats not a real word. How can that be a word....

There's such a thing as "overworking" a design. It's happened to me a ton of times. When I hit the wall like that, I have to step away from it for a while. For me, standing in a hot shower for 30 minutes will clear my head and present a solution.

All the time... best thing to do is leav eit on yoru screen... multiple options if you have them... then go have lunch or fuck a tranny or whatever you do ;)

When you come back if it catches your eye or if a ertain one pops out... thats your logo... if nothing pops, keep going.

if I get to that point I delete, go watch tv and a bite to eat for an hour then start over. usually bang something out 10 times better in 1/4 of the time afterwards.

happens to everybody, i look at a word and suddenly the word and letters make no sense to me - and it's never a really complicated word.

i must have 3000 fonts on my computer, the fonts look so good when you see them on font sites but as I scroll through them looking for one that will work with whatever I'm doing they all begin to look the same or look like shit.

i do that. some times the font can waste more time than anything else
