Saw Primus play in 1999 on the Family Values tour @ The Cow Palace in Daly City,CA .. they were the best band there. Awesome performance for sure..I'm here for the violence!Comment

As big of a fan as I am of these guys, sadly I've only seen them live twice. They always seem to hit Vegas the same time as others bands I like or when I'm out of town.
Their live show is probably best described as "nutty". Les Claypool makes me rethink how I play bass then reminds how much of a noob I am when he plays...Comment

Used to hang with Les back in the day when we were doing Orgazmo world movie premiere tour...

Jay is one of my oldest friends. We grew up together. In fact I am the first person Jay ever jamed with in my garage in 1979...LOL.. We had a little band going.. I talk to Jay about once a week... Great guy.. Me, Jay, Todd Huth, & Les Claypool used to hang out all the time in the 80's. When they started Primus I went off to the army. We have always stayed friends through out all these years... Man, the stories I could tell you!... FUN TIMES! One time in the mid 90's on the tour bus in kansas city after a show we were so stoned, I was sitting in the front of the bus with Jay and Les came over to me and said, John are you ok man? I just looked at him and smiled but Les then said, "Dude whatever you do don't die on the bus" We still joke about that night even today... LMFAO!
