no, once you are officially not a resident anymore you dont have to pay taxes in Germany - unless you are a shareholder in a company or have any other sources of income in Germany

Just another thought.

If the Feds have all the info from the site. Would this include info on downloaders?

Such as IP address, email, CC number, etc. Would they pass this over to the companies who were pirated against?

Imagine the record, film, games, etc. companies getting hold of a list of downloaders with all their info. :thumbsup

In Germany they have already announced to go after the premium users of kino.to - which was btw largely based on megaupload links

it was a german site - run by german citizens - thats probably why it wasnt talked much about on here, but about 10-15 people have been arrested for running kino.to or uploading content for them. and a couple have been already sentenced.
