Oh it was a fake story? Thats ok, he has a lot of that sort of talking point mess anyway. Every day it's something else.

The problem is that people believe that lying sack of shit.

Bush was a disaster for your country. Or so I thought. Guys like Santorum will be the death of a lot of people.

Here in the US we do it differently - no need to euthanize anyone. We just deny people in poor health health-insurance. Much cheaper too!

They always try to go full wackjob during the primaries, then dial it all the way back to moderate before the general election. Santorum said this weekend that Obama follows a theology.. just not from the bible (to great applause). Today one of his surrogates made a slip of the tongue and said something about "radical islamic" ideas when she meant "radical environmentalist". I think in reference to their denial of global warming.
It's a circus atmosphere no doubt.

Sanitarium (s.i.c) -- if you think McCain/Palin crashed and burned you ain't seen nothing yet ...

How the hell does anyone running for president (or even have a job in the government) get away with being so completely wrong about so many things?

Before you graduate from high school you have to pass a standardized exam. I bet that NONE of the current republican candidates (except for Ron Paul maybe) could score better than 40% on a "100 things the a President of the United States Must Know" exam.

None of them seem to have a basic knowledge of science, math geography or especially history. None of them know anything about other cultures. This fucking clown Santorum is eager to attack Iran but I bet he couldn't even find Iran on a map.

It just shows what a mockery the US elections are. It's a lot more about image, rather than knowledge, ideas and experience.

That would include Obama.

In order to be elected to a public office you have to profess to some religion. However, religion may have its place in private life but religion's public expression should be limited in secular political life.

America is not a "Christian Nation" it is a multi cultural and multi religious nation in spite of what the bible thumpers say.

The US Constitution separates church and state by established law.

Santorum and his kind can go fuck themselves -- they practice the most divisive sort of politics -- 60% of the population totally disagrees with this sort of bullshit.

That being said, Santorum is the ultimate fail Republican presidential candidate -- good choice ...

Interesting story from Santorum...

In The Netherlands, people wear a different bracelet. And the bracelet is.. 'Do Not Euthanize Me'. Because involuntary euthanasia (?) .. in The Netherlands... about half the people who are euthanized every year (and it's 10% of all deaths in The Netherlands) .... half of those people are euthanized involuntarily at hospitals.

So elderly people in The Netherlands don't go to the hospital. They go to another country. Because they are afraid, because of budget purposes, that they will not come out of that hospital.

I have a bracelet saying something rude about Santorum.

nico-t 02-21-2012 05:33 AM

a dutch tv show showed that weird made up story by this Santorum guy, i thought it was funny and very sad at the same time that those dirty politicians try to win souls by spreading these fairy tales. Funny because it sounded like the Netherlands system is hell when it's completely the opposite, sad because herds of sheep believe anything crooked politicians say.
