    Amex Green or Gold?

Which should I go for? I'm looking for a card that doesn't suck and that you can use points towards travel. I have the Amex Blue now but its only 1/2 point per $1 spent. I need better rewards. I can't seem to find a card with better reliability though other than Amex in terms of purchases in general. Any suggestions? No, I'm not a big baller...please dont say the black or platinum. I ain't got that kinda spend! I friggin wish! Hahaha

I have the green card and spend about 10k on it a month for business and personal. I have had Amex cards on and off through out the years. If you want the rewards points mostly I know they have a 3x rewards gold card. Otherwise I don't think the regular gold card is worth the extra yearly fee.

It comes down to a lot of factors like the travelling perks etc. I have several visa signature cards I use for my plane and hotel miles. Read the specs carefully and then decide what works best for your business and lifestyle.

see if you can get some point bonus, otherwise they will charge you an annual fee for the gold. check out some of the promo's but I opt'd for the platinum for its benefits. sucks to pay $300 a year for a fee, but easily use that each year to recover shady charges and warranties on products

Any visa signature card you recommend to for points for Flights? That's basically my main objective here.

Here's the list you want. Depends on what brands you are loyal to. Another great feature (though I'm not sure it's with all of them) is no foreign transaction fees.

          Take a look.

I don't know what member rewards programs are available to the green one but I think the Gold one has the full monty of member reward options. I use the shit out of my Amex points and I don't recall there being any specific member rewards differences from when it was a gold card to the centurion.

I turn almost all of mine into Home Depot gift cards.. sometimes travel and sometimes other gift cards. One things for sure, no matter what time of year we always need something from Home Depot! ..currently saving cards enough for a kitchen remodel!

LOL that's how we bought our fridge when we moved into our new house last year. 3k in Home Depot gift cards courtesy of Amex points...
