For all those that are planing to fuck themselves up like myself with go daddy hosting, I've just found that there is a limit for uploadin gfiles through form (wordpress) set at 8 mb. which is not enough. At my question can they set limit higher , they gave me instuctions to modify some php stuff.
When I told them that I am not familiar with PHP and gave them authorization to do that for me (they already know what and how), I've got next answer:

"Thank you for your response. I understand that you would like to increase the upload limit. Unfortunately we do not support 3rd party scripting. You will need to make those changes to your scripting. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please let us know if you have any further questions, comments, or concerns by replying to this email. Our service departments and telephone lines are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to accommodate your needs anytime."

Just spend 5 minutes researching and you will find out how bad godaddy is.

I have a site there and it's horrible, even for free I question if it's worth using.

Open up an account with Amerinoc, at more or less the same price and when asking for something like that, they will adjust i for you.

The will even transfer your complete site and database away from Godaddy for you, at no extra charge. Leave Godaddy now, before more trouble arise and you will not be sorry that you left!

Your load time is a bit better now though.

I knew that people will ask what I am doing with godaddy. Somehow, I've purchased hosting there many years ago. and it worked fine,without many problems. that is not my only hosting but I have many sites there.Incredible but it is performing faster then some hosting companies well known and used here. (sure ,those companies have much better support). So there are few reasons why I am still there.

1. I was never ready to experiment with changing dns because I've heard google can fuck up my searches after those changes.

2. I am afraid that I will fuck up 2o of my blogs that are there if I try to transfer. I've just fucked up one recently when moving it.

I ran into that issue with a server at Rackspace and had to get them to change it. I don't believe it's something you would be able to fix yourself in a shared hosting account, but someone else more knowledgeable here might be able to say for sure.

Bottom line, GD blows for hosting.

Uploading is a server limit... not a wordpress limit if I understand correctly.

I transferred my sites to a godaddy server once, think it was like $150/month and unmanaged, and it was such a disaster I moved all the sites off within 1 week. They are the worst hosting company... ever

It's because the problems you will have a with a oversold low grade host you wouldn't notice. Slow loading and blocked pages hurt you far more then the $1.50 u think you r saving

One question came to me after I've checked stats of my godaddy hosting account.I don't know how precise it is but it says that CPU usage is 1,6% and memory usage is 14%.

So I was wondering when I move to Amerinoc hosting, what would be then differene if I go for VPS and normal hosting like I am using now.

So is this a shared godaddy hosting account? If so I don't think that cpu usage is bad? I use about an average of 16% cpu usage with my shared accounts on another host and everything still loads fast.

most hosts have less accounts per server so the CPU is not being yanked into a thousand different directions. Higher end hosts will have your page load faster, more reliably, and better in further places.

I was using godaddy because when I was starting this business, they offered hosting and some other hosts rejected my card. So I've stayed. I am just now thinking should I go to VPS and how to know that

Funny I have been telling our customers that for over a decade but they insist on keeping them together. Luckily we are an honest company but trust me... MOST hosts are not and again godaddy will steal your domain or charge some BS fee to keep using it, for any stupid reason. I see it all the time.

I just looked up your support history, nothing recent and the last issue right after you moved, over a month ago ended up being something your programmer set up that was trying to pull from a site at Hostgator.

I just ran a web page test on your domain and will send you the link in a support ticket and you can look through it, you are trying to pull a lot of stuff from about 8-9 outside sources and one of the ad networks looks to be bogging your site down.
