I wish Iran would focus on making green energy. What a big slap to the face of the establishment that would be. However, i don't believe they have any intention of trying to do something for the good of all people. Like us they only concern themselves with the NOW. There will be a war there soon, propaganda machine is ramping up.
Bunch of sand nigs got hold of a few Core2Duo laptops and think they're scientifically advanced. Just a bunch of hot, smelly air. Can't wait for the whole lot of them to get sonned like Emmett Till circa 1955.
Speedstackinggirl, now there's someone whose REALLY asking for it.
how come christian / jewish nations are OK to have the bomb and arab nations are considered terrorists when trying to build it? i cud puke about those double standards ... iran wants to be able to strike back if the IL blockheads bomb them; aint that understandable? i really wish they'd finally test one so IL will shit its pants rather than invading iran
There aren't enough faces and palms on this planet for an appropriate reaction to religion.

They would need to cover the entire surface area of Iran with green energy. Although it would be nice ha.

Bombing with Li-ion batteries just doesn't have the same cache and windmills are just too cumbersome to strap to the bottom of a plane. Now a hydrogen fuel cell, well at least its got the word hydrogen in it, so that's half way to a hydrogen bomb.

history repeating with the propaganda tactics, and it still works. People are getting conditioned into another war by the media so they will accept it once it goes down. Works every time.

the whole thing is bullshit, economy needs war so false "worries" are spun to the public on a constant basis.
I see a lot of idle threats from iran.. which seems to only happen when the current modern-world countrie want to shut down everything that can bring them into the modern world of energy, defense and technology. But of course since the larger countries cant cash in or have no vital trade with them, they wish to keep them in the dark ages.
I think if EVERYONE just minded their own business everything would clear up. Let Isreal deal with their own problems. Oh wait.. we can't. They are having problems with people we dont make money off of and to keep making money with Isreal, we have to fight their war... again.

This used to be true sixty years ago when the entire nation would go on a war footing. I'm talking about World War II, where everyone in the US was some how contributing to the war effort. These days, not so much. These days we go to war - Iran, Afghanistan - and the financial impact is negative.... If you take hundreds of thousands of US soldiers normally based in the states and send then into a combat zone where they can't their money at the local five and dime that's a bad thing for our economy. We are currently in the worse recession since the Great Depression, and two wars hasn't helped us one bit.

I believe that all nations have the right to nuclear power. No one has the right to stop any one country from creating peaceful nuclear power. Iran should have this right.
The problem is that the rest of the world has the right to inspect and approve of such technology. It's very simple - what Russia does in a nuclear power plant can have far reaching implications three thousand miles away in Europe, as well as the rest of the world. We saw this first hand with the Chernobyl disaster. The rest of the world needs to know the plants that any one country is building is safe.

Bullshit
How many "inspectors" were sent into Iraq? They all found nothing! 1 million civilian deaths later and USA goes home. Why should Iran play a game they can't win?

I think we might be confusing different things here.
With Iraq, the inspectors weren't looking at nuclear power plants. They were looking for WMDs, namely chemical weapons. This was part of the peace treaty signed in 1991 (1992?) when Iraq was kicked out of Kuwait. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
With Iran, it's about nuclear power. No one can really tell the world Iran cannot have nuclear power. But the rest of the world can insist on having the right to inspect nuclear power plants.
Even at the height of the cold war, everyone was inspecting everyone's nuclear power plants. I'm sure there was lots of spying going on, but you couldn't really prevent it. And in this case, the world isn't going to be learning anything from Iran - everyone else has a forty year lead on Iran or whatever.
The world has the right to inspect nuclear power plants and nuclear power programs. Weapons are another matter. While Iran has never attacked another country, it's also threatened to destroy Israel on a regular basis. If you threaten me with a stick, I'm going to make sure you don't have any sticks. Then again, Iran attacking Israel with nukes would mean the end of Iran and most of the Middle East, so it's kind of pointless.
I think if I was Iran and attack was imminent I'd send my armies into Israel right away and fight there. Because fuck it.
But they missed their chance when the US first entered Iraq. They should have attacked the US right there, while Iraq could still help. Look at the map. Israel|Iraq|Iran|Afghanistan|Pakistan
They're fuckin surrounded now. All 4 of those countries might as well be considered US property at this point.
Iran, in retaliation, has threatened to block the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow Persian Gulf waterway between Iran and Oman through which one-fifth of the world's oil passes. If that were to happen, experts say oil prices could soar toward $200 per barrel and deliver a blow to already wobbly Western economies. Drivers would pay more for gasoline, airlines would spend more on fuel and shippers would pay more for diesel. That would leave people and companies with less money to spend and invest.
Iran has never threatened anyone. Quit buying into the propaganda...and how many times have politicians threatened Iran?
I said that in my post - Iran has never attacked another country. Iran has the right to have nuclear power, and the rest of the world has the right to inspect it.
