It wasn't that hard to figure out that Shane knew they were all infected (the living too) when he saw the zombie security guards at the school still had there guns holstered with no injuries. Also, when Rick stabbed Shane is was set to where you could see the huge full moon in the background. I am betting hordes of zombies come together during a full moon. Also, if you follow the comics the two guys Rick shot in the bar came from a clan where the Governor will soon be introduced. The best part about the whole series is coming because the Governor, if they follow the comics, best lunatic of the lot. In short, Shane was right, Rick doesn't have it in him to control whats coming.

Wouldn't it be great if the Governer was Daryl's brother? There would be some torn loyalties drama.

I don't know about the full moon thing. I just think they were close to the property perimeter where more zombies are, and the gunshot brought them.

I saw them selling all the trade paperbacks as a collection on ebay for around $180. They also sell them on Amazon with prices ranging from about $9 per book up to around $25.

That's Michonne, from the comic books. She'll probably be a big part of season 3.

They've already said that they are straying from the books, so things WILL be somewhat different as the story progresses.

By the way, those comic books are pretty bad. I have the first few of them , and I can barely get past the dialogue writing, which is bad even by comic book standards. I realize that the overall story is very interesting, but the TV show is a HUGE improvement in the character interaction. You'd think that Kirkman has never conversed with another human being, or been in a male/female relationship.

It's good that the TV show is using his work as basic blueprint, and nothing more.
