    Newb: Content production/2257?

So assume i have a girl interested in having some pics taken and giving me exclusive rights over them.

What sort of legal docs (2257 etc) do i need to fill out? And is there templates for them?

I assume i also have to get her to sign something stating that she is selling the rights to me

I'd assume it's common sense to consult with a local attorney before embarking on any such journey.

Yes, you need a release of all rights - a model release has this. You also need to make sure that the model release talks about taxes - and who is responsible when she is paid Further, PLEASE include a video statement on video stating her full name, date of birth, even the ID and the nature of the shoot in detail. People lie - the law will hold you responsible and accountable.

If anyone is beginning any shooting, much like we did years ago, get a lawyer, get a contract, each state will vary in the USA.
