What kind of training did you do beforehand? Did the different zones present a lot of issues or make it more difficult?

i climbed this bad boy and a couple others when i lived out west
Not as big as Kilimanjaro...but big enough, i suggest doing something like this first.
Few months of cardio and stress testing your ankles and such should do it. Show up at least 3 days before you climb, watch the weather..and go for it.
IF you do Kilimanjaro, i suggest the sherpas..lol
