I purely see a car as a utility that has to work, so I put as little money into it as possible gives me more cash for more important, fun, and permanent things like going out for one and putting money into property I feel that we work hard for our money, and future income is uncertain, so why throw money away? |
Don't let them get you down, can I have a grand?

One of my friends has enormous commutes from time to time. For 6 months, he spent 2.5 hours driving each way to and from work. Now it's about 1.5 hours. It could change again in 6 months.
3 to 5 hours a day in his car, not counting driving anywhere else for anything. Why wouldn't he buy a really nice car? He's spending 12.5% to over 20% of his life in his car. |

Different events require different vehicles. I would want a truck, a nice speedy car, and then maybe a classy car. Not because I want attention, but because they're each needed for different things. |

"the concorde is the most amazing plane i've ever been on. my dad has always been obsessed with jets, and always wanted to go supersonic. so we went on a 3 hour flight to no where (ended up in the same place we took off from). very cool. very expensive" So have you or have you not been on the Concorde, or was there a New Years celebration between March & November??? |

The classy car is something nice to drive long distances in. Something very comfortable, nice features, very easy to relax in. The truck is great for anything. Hauling things. Cruising around. A great sense of safety. My dad is a mechanic, so I've always been around tons of different cars. He probably has 5 in his driveway right now, all his. Plus, I could buy all 3 of the above for less than what many other people spend on 1 car. |

thanks for replying, some people got upset with my question :1orglaugh I would never buy 3 cars (unless I really had money to burn) but that's just me sounds like you can get a deal it's all legit of course, isn't it...? :winkwink: |
Having 3 cars is cool when you can afford it. Depending on what you do you might entertain often so a truck comes in handy. No one wants to drive a truck all the time so a convertable comes in quite handy (my favorite). A luxury sedan is nice for long trips and high level meetings where you don't want to come off as the young hot shot whippersnapper that might burn through tons of cash quickly(which is what you probably are but you don't want to let them know that).
I have never had more than a convertable and a truck at the same time but I can completely understand why having a sedan would be cool as well. |
