I love going to Korea, i usually stay with my wifes family so i'm not located where the girls are.
If you want to pick up a hot girl go to JJ's it is a club in a hotel. Lots of people speak english there. I think the english area is also called Itaewon. You can meet girls here. There is also another area that a lot of english teachers hang out in, find out and go there. IF you are a nice guy and hang out at one bar, it is guaranteed you will at least meet a very hot korean girl. You might not lay her that night...but you will meet some for the next day..lol.
If i was going back over i'd suggest meeting 2-3 as there is somewhere to go every single night.

Edit, you can go to pretty much any bar at night and there will be single korean girls there drinking. IF you are good looking and they speak any english, buy them Soju!!!

Itaewon is mostly english because that is where the Yuongsan US Army base is. The drinks are more expensive (sure hope you like Soju mixed with KoolAid) and you're gauranteed to meet girls there, because they will come sit on your lap and ask you to buy them a drink. We used to call them the $10 drinky girls. You wont score with those girls unless you're paying for it.

There are a few red light districts in Seoul, one is at the northern most train station. Another is near the big tech center.

Take some friends (korean) and go get some dak-kalbi for dinner. Its good stuff.

I try to stop in seoul every time i'm in asia
Nice people, hot chics, excellent food... lots of things to do

(sorry i'm not too objective here, the girlfriends is Korean ;) )

Hongde and Sinchon area are my favorite (around the university) lots of bars, crazy night life, full of you crowd

I don't like itaewon, it doesn't really feel like you left the US when you're there

go to Hong dae university area it is good to meet girls, they will talk to you just to practice english..

Sincheon is a party zone, go there...girls are everywhere in seoul..just be nice, it helps to be good looking...if you are and can put up with a korean girls whining, you will enjoy your stay..lol

you can pick up girls in itaewon man, local girls go there, just find the right bar.
last time i went out me and my buddy ended up in a small bar, the only other guy there was an american soldier, who was not allowed to be there he said..lol
Anyway, it was just us for awhile and we were having drinks, the bartender was a 10, so we sat at her bar.
Then later without us realizing the bar filled up with about 20 korean local girls just out to drink and have fun. the US soldier was there for another staff member, so it was just my buddy and i. Good times.
stay out of whiskey bars and other such places...just find a place where local korean girls go
