the best bit was that i cut my nabours dying tree down.
i started to saw it up (a lot of work). the kids wanted to do it, so i gave 4 of them a saw each, and sat with a bottle of milk in the sun while they did it all. to be honest the did it quicker than me.
although i did have to stop them sword fighting with the saws. i said they could do that once the braches were off. after all if one got hurt, it would be one less worker.
plus they could move around the braches.
if its nice sunday i will let them play at cleaning the van. they can get underneath with ease and clean under the van.
i tell you though, i was dredding cutting up that tree. as they say, many hand make blight work. clearly i am not a worker but managment.
i may set up a gardening business. i can pack the back of the van with kids and go to a house abnd listen to the radio while they do thye work. i hope they are strong enough to use a petroll hedge trimmer.Comment
