Just put 25 lbs. of chicken wings marinating in various hot sauces and spices in the refrigerator. Barbecue, football, intoxicated friends ... should be a great day. Don't care for either team but a good day to have fun.

When I was growing up my step father was from Europe and had no interest in American professional sports - and this was long before satellite TV, etc. I grew up playing basketball, but never watched professional sports.
I have been watching some of the football games, and I'll watch the Superbowl from home, but it's not a big deal for me.Herschel Savage

Interesting responses, I figured most every one here was a rabid sports fan. Personally I really dont care for any large spectator sport at all, may watch the very last of them, when it really matters.

The game itself is great. All the commercials.. overrated BS. Actually it is the one day corporate pays back a bit tho. It's a good time.
And I am an old hardcore football fan but when they traded away Randy Moss (or he left) from the Vikes that is about when I stopped watching.
But it is a big day Maybe I will DL or stream some at YT

I'll be watching. A close friend and his wife throw a big party every year, it's a no miss deal. Usually about 60-80 great people and the best food imaginable. Every year the party is better than the year before.

Of course I'll be watching! Even though we don't have any California teams in it this year. Best that we got is a local friend of mine is in a Kia commercial. Season was good though because my favorite team (San Diego Chargers) knocked my worst shit team (Oakland Raiders) right out of the season, that made the whole thing worth it.Comment
