In our tradition of finding new ways to drive revenue for our merchants, and protecting their online businesses from fraud, CCBill is excited to announce the upcoming release of our newest feature, Web Verify.
If you want to increase throughput and capture additional transactions, Web Verify may be a solution for you. With Web Verify, when certain credit card transactions are declined, that consumer is provided the option to contact CCBill's round-the-clock billing support team to confirm specific information. This potentially could result in the approval of that originally declined purchase.
And to make it easy for our merchants, the Web Verify feature will be activated on all CCBill accounts when it launches, with the option to deactivate it if you do not want to take advantage of this new opportunity.
This exciting new feature will be available soon. There are, however, some important setting details which could impact your consumers before Web Verify is released:
Clients with Cascading: if you are currently using our built-in cascading features for our other payment types or for external processors, there is a small chance double transactions may occur. This will only happen if the consumer calls CCBill Consumer Support after the transaction is processed through the other cascade option, and we are unable to determine that the transaction has been completed elsewhere.
Clients with Decline Redirects: since CCBill's system is providing a chance to capture that declined transaction, be aware that your redirect will overtake the online notice for the Web Verify option. But the consumer will still receive an email notification to contact CCBill support to potentially get the purchase approved.
Based on our studies and testing, we see tremendous success with Web Verify and are eager to relay the benefit to your business. However, if you wish to opt out, you may do so at any time by contacting
