Olympus C-3030 owners - remote question
Hey guys!
I have an Oly C-4000 which I am absolutely in love with but turns out I *do* need the remote after all, so I'm back to looking at the 3030 since you guys absolutely rave about it. My question is about the remote itself. When you hit the remote to take a pic, does it take the pic immediately, or does it give you a second or two to hide the remote? How far can you be from the camera and still have the remote work? Any other comments on the remote or use of it would be appreciated. (I just wish they had something that could remotely depress the shutter button for me on the 4000... *sniffle*) |

Ooh! Also, how long is the delay between taking a pic and being able to take another pic? Is there any type of sequential shooting mode that you can trigger from the remote?

I have only used the remote a few times but as far as I remember the time between a click and the picture being taken is relatively nothing. The 3030 has a short wait anyway before taking a shot and with the remote I don't think you'd notice any difference at all.
As far as how far away it works I'm not sure, but it's a pretty decent distance. Jak |

Thanks, Jak! I'll have to plan on having one hand hidden at all times ;)

I have the C-3000 and I use the remote very often. When you hit the remote, the camera beeps three times and then fires. So, you've got about 3 or 4 seconds between hitting the button and the picture.
