They work nicely: manage advertising on your sites and pay you a share of revenue. Just I seriously doubt they'll work with an adult site: they won't accept you. This is one of the largest advertising agencies on the Internet (there are just a few more that big - RealMedia, Advertising.com, what else?).
Asking them to accept an adult site is like asking Amazon to promote hardcore DVDs at the frontpage. |

No, I am not considering them for adult sites.
Do they have a limit of CPMs per month for the sites they accept? How much approximately do they pay? Also, do they supply their own advertisers to the publishers or can the publisher run their DART system and promote advertisers not affiliated with them? If this happens, how do they compensated? I mean, what do they charge for using the DART system? Thanks!

I see.
They have got quite a proper margin to enter the network: at least several million page views a month. That's an absolute minimum. There are different rumours about their CPM rate, but publishers are getting 30c-50c CPM on the average from them. Yes, you can use DART to run your own advertising, but you have to pay on per-impression basis. Not sure about the price, though. DART is also available in a standalone version, but prices are sky-high: starting from ~90K as an initial investment and minimum support/update commitment for approximately 10K-15K per year (that's _minimum_). |
