I used to have a site that explained what resolution you can take pics at with whatever megapixels and all that, and I'm sure it's explained in one of my Maximum PC mags, but I figure there's a lot of photographers here.
If I want to take pics that are HIGH RESOLUTION and by this I mean good enough that I can go 8"x10" at 300 DPI (2400x3000). How many megapixels do I need? Is 4.1 enough? Obviously I'd settle for a resolution that's a bit smaller, but it cause I'd like to take pictures that can be used in color print. I was thinking of the Minolta DiMage 7i which is a 5MPX. Any other recommendations?
