I recently bought up 20 slightly obsolete electronic items @90c each which usually sell for $9-10 each (both at the shop I purchased them from, and on ebay.)

Trouble is that you still need a market for them. No point making an 80-90% clear profit if you only sell one or two per year. That's why I didn't buy 200 of them.
