Kazza - breathing life back to the hardware market

Is it just me or have other people had to buy 80 gig hard drives due to file sharing software? I am jus tabout to go to bed and have left Kazaa downloading about 20 plus mp3's. The hardware market has apparently been fucked for the last few years. Most people I know who have Kazaa seem even on a dial up to be able to fill a 10 gig hard drive in no time at all. Anyone else investing in 80 gig to get the storage needed for either mps's or porno flicks?

In the last 2 months, a friend of mine has bought a 60 gig, and an 80 gig hard drive.. The 80 is approaching capacity.. If he didn't have kazaa, you can bet your ass he wouldn't have those hard drives. So yes, most likely helping the hdd market some.

it might be helping the hard drive market, but hurting other industries at the same time.

I have a number of HD's but the easier solution was to simply get a CD burner.. no need for huge drives then.

CD's are nowhere near as convenient. I don't even use my stereo anymore. I rip my cd's to mp3. I basically use this bitch as my stereo now. Hook it up with a decent sound system, and it kicks ass.

I got an 80 Gig firewire external drive for a lot of reasons. I have TONS of content (which I produce). I have several computers and the HD makes sharing files and backing up the machines easier. I can take all this stuff with me when I travel so I can pretty much be in business no matter where I am. A 120 Gig drive is probably in the cards, this 80 Gigger is so great.

I don't download MP3's. I can afford to buy CD's and burn rip them as MP3's onto CD's. They get ripped onto the HD first, but they don't stay there long.

Go get Sim City 4, that game alone could drive the hardware market... Christ, never seen a game get 2 FPS on a 2GHZ P4 with a GeForce 4

I almost quit using CD's entirely at home until I bought a 301 disc CD changer. You can link a bunch of them together too if you have more than 301 CDs.

I'm too dam lazy to get up and change CD's manually, so now I can just keep every one I own in the player at all times and use the remote.

Got a new 100Gig on the way, but it's not for Kazaa...

... It's from buying too much content! (If there were such a thing)! :D

Damn, I can't handle all these damn CD's. I need quick acess to content and I need it orginized too.

(Amazing how many content producers just throw everything into one directory on a CD)
