Just thought I would put the forum to good use here as we are considering our sponsorhip and party activities at this years Phoenix Forum.
Given how popular the poker was last eyar and its close proximity to the other party suites we are likely to put on one of the party suites with all the usual good stuff that was going on in previous years.
however what would everyone think to a small poker tournament with a twist?
We are thinking about bringing a friend of mine, a well known LA tattoo artist to do some small tats for anyone wanting one (drunk enough to get one!) whilst there in a kind of Reporo tattoo corner.
We then had the had though about having something ilke a TATTOO ALL IN POKER tournament
Essentially we thought about players who reach the final table are all given a "tattoo all in" card which means that when they go all in they must put the card down, if they get beat then they have to take a small tattoo from our artist - possibly like a ? of spades all the way down to the Ace. The winner could decide if he or she wanted the winners mark of the ace of spades.
Ordinarily this might seem like a mad crazy stupid idea but given the number people in this industry with tattoos and the insane bets i saw at last years tables, I would really like to hear peoples' thoughts to the idea, how many people think they would play in such a tournament, better ideas for a format etc etc etc
Obviously Reporo would chuck in some prize money and make the buy in a bit cheaper but still worth winning and in general tying it in to one of our party nights.
