Why are CAMS impossible to convert?

Cams.com, Webcams.com, Awempire, Clickcash, you name it... Tried them all... Why are they IMPOSSIBLE to convert?

What's the catch?

How can the same traffic convert at 1:200 - 1:500 with a regular paysite that is free at file sharing sites, but when you try to convert cams, they just don't convert ? Even CCBILL paysites convert a trillion times better than cam sponsors.

I would just don't bother and avoid cams, but everyone here talks about it, so either they are looking for webmaster referral comissions, or I am missing something.

CAMS are still a big mistery for me, tried to make them work for almost 3 years now and still no luck.. even when I contact the sponsor they just dont help me.. I tried contact many, including awempire, mtree, cams, webcams, their manager doesnt help shit.. they just ignore the emails or give no help at all... I guess they are busy helping the webmasters of the shitty filesharing sites or illegal forums that send them millions of uniques per day with popup unders and don't care about help average webmasters.. SAD BUT TRUE.

Cams may be a harder conversion compared to paysites, not really sure as I quit running tgps after the 2003-2006 range so today mainly just promoting cams and almost all of my adult income comes from cams and the rest from mainstream. Will say that almost every member on the cam side I get spends at least $100-$400+ month. When taking in 30% but they continue to spend month after month doesn't matter if it takes more work to land them as you know they will continue spending once signed up based on statistical averages so initial acquisition cost can be higher as you know you will make it back up over the recurring months.

Get a white label, go revshare and analyze your traffic buys. Reduce spending to traffic sources not working and increase spending to sources that are working. You will waste money on sources not working but after some time analyzing and using tracker codes specific to each traffic source you will be able to find which sources are working and adjust your advertising to the most productive sources.

Variables that can differ peoples opinions on cams is the cam partner they choose along with the traffic source as all traffic is not created equal. You need premium country traffic US,CA,UK etc... and it needs to be targeted. Buying 100k popunders from all countries may not be as effective as buying 10k actual clicked traffic from a descriptive text link or matching cam thumb only from premium countries. :2 cents:

There are two main reasons.

1. Bad traffic which isn't interested in cams but wants regular porn
2. Shaving

My best advice is to try all the companies for at least six months to see what works. If nothing works consider finding a true pay per free program. A dirty little secret for many of these cam and dating programs is that on their revshare programs you may be 0:40,000 according to them but you've still sent them 200 - 500 free members which they will spam and sell other products to without giving you a penny. They are getting money from that traffic and so should you. It's highly profitable to pay you zero for your 300 free members while they are able to squeeze an average of 50 cents or more from each when all is said and done. You aren't an affiliate, you're an unpaid marketer. :upsidedow

problem is that you must first prove quality of your traffic on shave mode, then you have to be lucky to get manual approved, no fucked up business like webcams for me

The girl displayed at the top on your site is also on chaturbate at the moment also, so many people could just watch the model for free.

Plus of course, you can blame search engines, typing "live cam" rather than looking through blogs and sites seems to be an easy approach if some guy wants to look & spunk like a panda :2 cents:

i have one white label with streamate, decently backlinked, google webmaster tools show some weird data, however google analytics show traffic and that people come from search engines searching for quite decent keywords, but still their weird stats say amount collected: $ 90.80 and that is since the 09/2011...
