Joe Paterno Memorial - Selling "Free" Tickets
This is a big deal for people where I live, close to PSU. Ticketmaster offered 10,000 free tickets to the memorial service tomorrow, but had no interest in going but tried to get one for my friend.
Talked to him tonight and he's still trying so I posted a few ads on craigslist. I expected to see people selling them for $100 or so, but I got someone who said they will meet me tonight if I pay them $10,000 in cash  Ebay pulled the plug on this as people were selling tickets for upwards of several thousands of dollars. Insane how people are banking on this event, my guess is about 7,000 of the 10,000 tickets sold will be used, the rest will be just like NFL ticket holders trying to sell the day of and fail.
