    Arylia Gallery Builder Update - Now only $49

    Hi guys,
    I just wanted to update everyone about Arylia, pretty much the best gallery builder out there. If you are unfamiliar with Arylia, feel free to check out our website or this post for examples of the galleries it can create.


    After a year or so of no real exciting changes, we have decided on a few new things:
    Its now just $49, down from $149 a copy
    The license is now unlimited, existing owners go wild as your copy is now unlimited too
    No more zend encoding. So now you can use it on php 5.3+ and also hack up it anyway you want (though this may make it incompatible with future security and bug updates)

    The change? Arylia no longer offers free support. You are still welcome to use our support forums and case by case or monthly premium support contracts are available. This change was made so we could keep offering a quality product. Please contact us at webmaster -at- arylia -dot- com for more details. We will still be offering free bug and security updates as needed.

                                  It comes with a few standard templates, but you can make any type of template you want, you simply create your gallery design and then just add in where you want the thumbnails and banners.

                                  I'll try to create some more examples later if I have time.

                                                                      Can you tell me what happened when you tried to update? It worked in my test.

                                                                      To answer your question, replacing old files with new files will work with the following caveats:
                                                                      • The version number will not update. You can update it manually by changing the value in the settings table in your database to 3.2.0. Having a wrong version number won't do any harm, though, except to be disinformative.
                                                                      • Be careful not to overwrite your configuration, templates, and userFunctions.inc.php files.
                                                                      • This is not guaranteed to work for all versions, but if you currently have 3.1.2 it will work for this version, because there were no changes to any database tables.

                                                                                  2.Seems latest.tar.gz doesn't contain any of those files,so i suppose i am safe.I suppose you though how i used full version,but i extracted latest.tar.gz which was downloaded when clicking on update
                                                                                  3.Yes i had 3.1.2 version.
                                                                                  So i guess what i did was enough.
