You can drive through any black neighborhood in the US and there are a few that have already done this. My parent's old neighbor lived in a huge house about 10 miles from the inner city and his church. He drove a big Caddy while his wife had her Merc SL. They lived it up while their "church" was in a shitty neighborhood. They were people willing to sell out their own, to live the good life...and they did.
These kinds of churches are big business.Comment

I posted this because many people here are complaining for wasting money on discovering Mars etc. This is a great comparative image of how much is this really.
With these money you don't even need roads, you could make cars fly

No church should be tax exempt.
Watch how many REAL religious people there are then willing to give so much to the church.
Science is a job creator and forwards humanity. Name how a church with any serious following has forwarded humanity since 2,000?
PS I better ad for full disclosure that I am ordained as worked for more than 10 years as a volunteer Chaplin not accepting a cent in payment.Last edited by suesheboy; 08-07-2012, 03:01 AM.Comment

factually false, straw man, false equivalence, red herring - all four in one.
cant you right wingers construct a logical argument for anything? especially when good ones are so easily at hand.Comment

imagine how many mars rovers we could have if we taxed all charities too.
that what you would have to do btw to taxes churches because if you started taxing churches they would simply shift the collection to 503 corporate donations and still be fully tax exempt.
btw how many mars rovers could we have if we added a 25% tax on porn.Comment
