        Looks like the last attempt before 9/11 was back in 1994 (FedEx Flight 705).
        The last one before that seems to have been in 1978 (TWA Flight 541).

        Correct me if I'm wrong, as this is based on a Wikipedia page. But that doesn't seem too frequent to me.
        Apparently you are too young to remember them, that is fine. But be advised, just because it is not on wiki does not mean it did not happen.

                                            the TSA fucking sucks , with a bunch of morons running it. Went to the 1st class or business line twice this time, coming and going. Both times they have the scanner set up, like wtf ?

                                            We had a longer line up than the regular lanes.This is faster service?
