    NASTYDOLLARS - tracking problems ?

    With ratio's going to complete shit the last few months i am wondering if there is a problem with tracking.

    I use campaign id's to track sales , i have noticed all recent sales are tracking the campaign id's improperly.

    Lets say my userid is SMOKEY and my campaign id is PLAN1

    my affil link would be realitykings.com/home.htm?id=SMOKEY&cmp=PLAN1

    when i view my CAMPAIGN stats i see hits being tracked for campaign PLAN1

    the problem is zero sales , all the sales seem to show up as campaign SMOKEY|PLAN1 with ZERO hits

    i dont use that campaign id and i have never noticed this problem in the past . it is obviously a programming error.

      also i notice a problem on your members area. if you go to realitkings home member area and go to "sites" you will see all the sites in the rk network..

      ITSREAL is one of the bonus sites, but when you click it there is no content and a dead picture. It as been this way for awhile. This can't be good for sales/chargebacks when i promote a 3 breasted woman and you have no 3 breasted women

                  Yeah my traffic is stable. I'm selling in the mid $xx,xxxx per year on them.

                  Last Year's Ratio overall: 1:245
                  December 2011: 1:181
                  January 2012: 1:148

                  Overall one of my best sponsors and I really haven't noticed any significant change in ratios during the time others have been complaining about it.

                                                                          I too have some serious issue with tracking, sent and received a couple of emails, then got left hanging - and the stats are really seriously screwed up - it's easily obvious in my case.

                                                                                      thanks.. you guys have been very helpfull in the past on numerous issues, sometimes though reps don't take issues seriously unless they see it effects more than one person.



                                                                                      about the ratio's though , there is something else going on obviously. There could be issues involving ownership/billing/etc that you can't go into and i understand that , but the sheer amount of people seeing a big drop in ratio's over a short period of time suggests something is up.. If you haven't changed anything and you aren't seeing the drop on your end , i suggest doing some digging. During the boom of "ZANGO" and other "ref code swappers" they killed alot of programs because they steal honest affiliates income making ratio's drop , many programs didn't understand and were willing to get into bed with them because they see a whale account , meanwhile overall income wasn't increasing because the "whale" was just stealing other affiliates cuts , they don't notice the bigger problem until all those small affiliates start switching programs and the "whale" has no affiliates to steal from anymore..

                                                                                      one way you can check things like this is to check for campaign codes and such that match other affiliates accounts ( lots of other methods i don't want to go into here , but thats an easy one )

                                                                                              they must have just fixed it now i think it what he is saying , as i checked both issues before i started the thread and the members area has also just been fixed.


                                                                                              but i think the important issue is.. if campaign stats WERE tracking fine , and suddenly they stopped tracking properly and your affiliate id was being tacked onto the front of your campaign id , the vice versa of this is that id's may have being tracked with campaign id tacked onto the end of them then they wouldn't show up in your stats and you wouldnt get a sale.

                                                                                              This would explain why people like warchild didn't see the same ratio drop because he wasn't using campaign id's thus his sales would show up fine , anyone using a campaign id might be having his campaign id tacked onto the affil id and thus the sale got eaten by nastydollars.

                                                                                              not saying this is fact , just it makes alot of sense considering what we do know.

I'm at 1:12,000 for the month and those are second page uniques or whatever they're using now. My links are mostly to Reality Kings latest update pages like:
